Stephen A. Hightower, M.D.

Dr. Hightower completed his undergraduate studies with Dean's honors at The University of California, Santa Barbara. Following this, he attended the University of Vermont College of Medicine, where he was awarded the prestigious James E. DeMeules Surgical research prize. Dr. Hightower then completed General Surgery and Urology Residency training at both the State University of New York and the highly respected Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Dr. Hightower's practice focuses on minimally invasive surgical and medical treatment of all types of Urological Conditions, such as: Urological Cancers, Prostate Enlargement, Kidney Stones, Female Urology, Vasectomy and Reversal, Incontinence Issues, as well as Bladder Conditions.

Dr. Hightower joined Coast Urological Medical Group in 1999 and now serves as the group's President. In addition, he is also immediate past Chairman of Urology at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, and President of the Governing Board of Reagan Street Surgery Center in Los Alamitos.

Dr. Hightower is fully Board Certified in Urology by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Hightower is a native of Southern California and resides in Long Beach with his wife, Heather, and their three children. In his free time he enjoys golf, sailing, and spending time with friends and family.
